How many pictures will we receive?

You’ll receive a carefully curated collection of the best moments from our session—every smile, laugh, and heartfelt connection captured. While the exact number depends on the session type, rest assured you’ll have plenty of images to treasure and share with your loved ones. I guarantee 10 final edited images with each session with the option to purchase more.

How should we dress for our family session?

Think comfortable, coordinated, and true to your style. Neutral colors and soft tones photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your family’s connection. I’m happy to help with suggestions or inspiration to make sure everyone looks and feels their best—no stress, just fun!

What’s the best time to have a session?

Golden hour—the hour just after sunrise or before sunset—is pure magic for photos. The light is soft, warm, and flattering, creating a dreamy atmosphere for your session. But if that timing doesn’t work for you, don’t worry! We’ll make sure the light is perfect no matter when we shoot.

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera. Is that ok?

Absolutely! Most people feel this way, and it’s completely normal. My job is to make you feel at ease and guide you every step of the way. With a little laughter and direction, you’ll forget the camera is even there—and the result will be authentic, natural moments that truly reflect who you are.

How long will the session last?

The average session typically last about an hour, but I like to keep things relaxed and flexible. This gives us enough time to capture those must-have shots and those unexpected, beautiful moments that make your photos truly special. If you feel like you need more or less time we work with you.

What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

Mother Nature can be unpredictable, but we’ve got this! If the weather isn’t on our side, we’ll reschedule to a day that works for you or we can talk about utilizing your home or a studio. Rain, wind, or snow—it’s all part of the adventure, and we’ll make sure the timing is just right.

When will we see our photos?

I know how exciting it is to see your photos, so I work quickly to get them ready! You can expect your online gallery within 3-4 business days of our session, beautifully edited and ready for download.

Can we bring pets to our session?

Yes, please! Pets are family too, and they’re more than welcome to join the fun. Just let me know ahead of time so we can plan for their involvement and ensure everyone, furry or not, has a great time.
